Gluten-Free Fruit Swirl Coffee Cake
These look delicious! But as I can't get the Bisquick mix here (and don't actually need gluten-free), I wonder how to make them using regular ingredients??

I also have a couple of questions, if anyone would be so good...
What should the texture of the "batter" be? Mine seems to be very stiff; perhaps it should be "looser"??
And what should the texture once they are cooked be like?? The first batch I made were rather dry - I'm now making them again, they went down so well!! But should the middle be a bit like a brownie??
