Slow Cooker Teriyaki Chicken Wings I just made these today for the superbowl and I have to say...while they taste really awesome, the actual sauce was very thin. I thought the teriyaki sauce was going to be thick and goopy but it was runny and dissapointing. I followed the recipe EXACT. I ended up taking the sauce and putting it in a saucepan and then boiling it with some cornstarch to thicken it..then I poured it back onto the chicken and put it in the oven to broil for about 5 min then stirred the chicken and put it back in for another 5 min.
