"I made this cake and here all of my pointers for the next person to make this cake for the first time. #1 take the cake out of the oven 10 min early. #2 poke the cake all the way to the bottom regardless of w/e you've read on other reviews. #3 use 2 boxes of pudding!!!! #4 after the cake and pudding has been in the refrigerator for about an hour, add two tubs of cool whip on top. I made this cake exactly as directed and the cake was dry from having to be in the refrigerator, so take it out of the oven extra early because you'll need that extra moisture to help with the dryness. Also, I simply poked the cake as indicated and it makes the bottom half of the cake seem even that much more dry, dont be afraid to poke all the way to the bottom, pudding becomes firm in the refrigerator, it wont be all soggy or anything when you cut it. I say use 2 boxes because one was NOT enough. Also, add cool whip to the top of the cake because the cake was on the plain side and needed a little something extra and I used one tub and one tub was not enough. "
