"Absolutely the best spanish rice! Everyone I cook this for loves it. It has more of a strong Mexican food kick my taste buds crave for compared to the prepared spanish package rice. The best thing about this recipe, you can alter or add other ingredients as suggested below to suit your own taste buds. I added this awesome recipe to my recipe file years ago. Thanks, Betty Crocker!"

"I used the ingredients to the exact when I first tried this recipe. It was delicious! I now use 5 lbs of lean ground beef when I cook this recipe. That way there will be leftovers the next day. None of it goes to waste, everyone loves it, and they can't seem to get enough of it! I substitute the ground mustard for any type of mustard I've got on hand. I use about 3 to 4 tablespoons. I triple the Worcestershire sauce. Instead of tripling the sage and garlic powder, I use more than the regular recipe calls for. I substitute the sage for parsley when I'm out of sage. Some days I may use both. I use 1 large grated onion and 2 eggs. I use 1 15 oz can tomato sauce and half of a cup of ketchup and spread it over the top of meatloaf. When I form the meatloaf, I flatten it to about 3 inches high. I place it on a huge pan that will drain the grease off while it cooks."
