That sounds awesome I will have to try that on my next batch! I made them according to recipe and they are just as good as they look. These take a little bit longer to make because of cooling time but they are well worth it. These also went over very well on the cookie platter.. Let just face it all the cookies were good and there were none left of any kind I made. Thanks Betty!

These cookies were a big hit on my cookie platter. They really complimented the other cookies on the tray. Alot of people thought they had coconut in them and were very surprised to know it was Wheaties. I will continue to make these during the holidays and other special occasions. One way to avoid the rolling mess is to use two teaspoons and use a latex or cooking glove (disposable of course) to keep things a little less messy.

Chocolate Hazelnut Corners
These little Gems add a little something extra to the mix. I thought to myself 4 hours prep time. It really wasn't that bad because that 4 hours is for refrigeration time. It was difficult to do in the dimensions mentioned so I winged it, mine was slightly smaller 5 1/2 X 8 (in that area). The layering was easy and the baking time is short so it can go by quickly. (which is good considering how many dzn's there are). I kept to the width so the cookies weren't to thick (it gives it different texture and not as buttery)But all-in-all they were a big hit and very flavorful.

Chocolate Candy-Peanut Butter Cookies
As I stated in my sugar cookie review, these were also chosen as one our platter cookies, These are always a hit for any occasion. Some people like familiar things and these cookies do just that. We also did Chocolate Hazelnut squares, Carmarel Pecan snappers, And Cherry Blinks, all we're amazing and added a diverse but limited amount of cookies to our platter. Can't have too much of a good thing!

Classic Sugar Cookies (Cookie Exchange Quantity)
My daughter came home from college over the Holidays and we spent 2 days making different cookies. I chose these for our sugar cookies and they were FABulous. The dough was easy to work with and they tasted especially good after we decorated them. I gave some to friends and made a large platter of cookies for the family and the kids devoured them. Thanks Betty!
