"I have a question. I have made this pie for years and now all of a sudden the pie crust is cooking up through the pie filling. Not only does it boil over also and make a mess, but the pie is ugly and does not slice and lift from the pan neatly. It is one of my favorite recipes and I just hate that it is so unpredictable now on whether or not it will turn out right. I even tried cooking it at 350, I have tried popping the bubbles before it cooks over. I am at a loss at what to try next. I use a frozen pie crust, let it thaw, then pour the filling in. Help please. Thanks, Tamra"
