"This cake isn't bad... I prefer the celebration cake on a certain chocolate and candy company's website (starts with an H). I found it to be dryish; flavour is good. I also found the frosting tricky, but I'll chalk that up to my own inexperience as opposed to the recipe."

"I made this recipe for a crowd of my friends. It went over very well; there were no leftovers, I'm afraid. I found even after giving everyone generous amounts of caramel topping that I had quite a bit left-over. Next time I make this one, I'm going to try using only 1 bag of caramels. Make sure you don't use milk chocolate chips as the brownie cake itself is very rich."

"This turned out to be a great dinner for myself and my husband. I made it a bit healthier by using Olivieri whole wheat pasta and low fat Ricotta. It was made a bit tastier by using ravioli with broccoli as the pasta, a bit of spices and salsa instead of the chopped tomato. I had seared scallops on the side and he had chicken (I don't eat chicken and he doesn't like seafood)."

"This is a good recipe, but it needs some tweaking... you can cheat by melting the margarine but do not melt too much. Also, yes, add a teaspoon or two of vanilla and use dark brown sugar. I put in more flour than it calls for (dough should not be sticky) and I also use 1/2 whole wheat flour. Do not overbake! Enjoy :)"
