"I also have made this no doubt a thousand times but I have a little varation.. 8oz cleaned fresh mushrooms sliced.sauted in butter.8 large carotts peeled sliced steamed until tender, set aside 1 bag frozen peas, melt butter and flour and 2 cups water 1 cup milk, I use Wyler's chicken crystals for the bouillon..(to taste) add the chicken peas mushrooms carotts and bring to one last boil, reduce heat to low and add 2 tablespoons cooking sherry.. serve over pepperidge farm puff pastry shells.. EXCELLENT... as least I have been told that 1000 times.. bon appetit ......"
