Hot German Potato Salad The slow cooker version of the Hot German Potato Salad does not work. I continually had to add water and then vinegar. Even with the low setting on the slow cooker, the potatoes were tender in 5-6 hours. You cannot leave the slow cooker unattended throughout. The "regular" recipe is far superior in taste and much less work.
