Also to answer the question to a reviewer below, the chocolate topping begins on top of the batter, but during the baking process it sinks to the bottom. :)
[Chocolate topping usually comes in a jar on the grocery aisle that has ice cream toppings. It is like chocolate syrup, but has a thicker consistency.]

Turned out great. I used a butter yellow mix instead of yellow. I also made my own choc topping w an online recipe, using a chopped up hershey bar. Lastly, instead of the frosting, I just used marshmallows. I baked the cake for 35 min, layered the marshmallows on top, turned the oven up to 400°F, then baked for another 7 min or so [until the marshmallows puffed and browned]. :)
Definitely would recommend!
