"I doubled this recipe since I always have a crowd to eat brownies and everyone loved them. I don't notice the cherry cola flavor as being present but they are chewy like old fashioned brownies, not cake like, and I think the cola contributes to that. The frosting is very good and cherry on top is great! The batter is thick and make sure to spread them evenly in well sprayed tray or edges will be thin and overcook. I took mine out with a little batter sticking to the toothpick but pulling away from edges of the cooking pan and they kept the chewy texture for two days and didn't dry out."

"I made this for Mother's Day and it was very good and well received. I made it vegetarian by using soy style meat. I used dehydrated taco style granules and after rehydrating them, I simply used them as the meat but without seasoning or cooking since they were already seasoned. If I had used the frozen ground beef style soymeat, I would have followed the directions for the fixing the ground beef with onion and seasonings. I often use meat recipes and sub non-meat. Sometime they come out just as good and this was one of those times!"
