Slow-Cooker Cheesy Potato Soup
My family LOVES thick and chunky potato soup! So I was happy with the idea to use diced hash browns instead of taking time to peel and dice reg. potatoes. I also added some ingredients from two other recipes that I always combine. I used heavy whipping cream, 1 can of Campbell's cream of potato soup, a large leek washed and diced, and did half again the amount of hash browns. It was wonderful! Another reviewer mentioned it lacked flavor: sprinkle a dash or two of garlic powder, salt and pepper, and add the leek like I did and it won't be bland!!!
