Spicy Green Beans with Caramelized Onions
"Yummmmy! What a great side dish! Hubby wanted Asparagus w/our fish and I do not care for that. So, I got some fresh green beans and an onion and made this! He didn't eat much of his veggie choice....he ate more of mine! : ) I will definitely make this one frequently!"

Seven-Layer Salad
"My version is lettuce torn into bite size pieces on bottom, layer diced celery, then layer diced carrots, then layer of diced red onion, then I mix 2 cups of mayo w/a little bit of dried ranch dressing mix and mix the peas in with the mayo blend and layer on. Next a generous layering of shredded cheese and topped w/a jar of real bacon bits. "

Peppered Pork Pitas with Garlic Spread
Rating:
Made these for dinner tonight and everybody LOVED them! They were quick and easy to make. I paired them with Betty's Spicy Corn Fritters. OMG! A wonderful combination! Daughters wanted leftovers, but they ate them all tonight!! These will definitely be a regular in our house.

Thai Chicken Pizzas
Rating:
Very filling and tasty! 15 yr. old daughter doesn't like anything, so she doesn't weigh in on the review. : ) Husband wants chopped cashews on top in addition to the peanut butter spread mixture. A little kick of spice (red pepper flakes) would have been good too. I will try that next time I make this.

Great taste....came out a little dry; added about 1/2 -2/3 cup extra of milk to moisten up more. Kids loved it!

Can you make this ahead of time and store in the refrigerator overnight? Will the dough rise too much???

Skillet Chicken and Dumplings
Rating:
Very tasty dish. The dumplings took a lot longer to cook than was written. It could have been because I used a very large electric fry pan and the juices were more spread out. The family loved it. I seasoned the chicken up with some Italian seasonings to add a little zip to the meal. Turned out great! I also added salt at the table. My picky teenage girls liked it too!
