Slow-Cooker Southwestern Pot Roast
I always flour both sides of a roast and then sear it in a heavy pot, and a little oil over med/high heat to brown. Could even use the salsa to deglaze the pot after removing the roast. Then put the salsa with all the little bits of beefy goodness that were stuck to the bottom of the pot over the roast in the crockpot.
