"This recipe goes back to my earliest ''cookie'' cookbooks: about 1962-63. I've made these since I was a young girl and they are still one of my favorite cookies. I am going to try the red and green sugars, just for fun this Christmas. These taste great with a cup of tea or coffee!"

"When I made this cake I discovered that I didn't have yellow cake mix on hand but instead use pineapple cake mix. Also used pecans as I always have them on hand. Wow, it was a huge success! everyone enjoyed it so much. I baked it the day before I was serving it [it was hard to resisit that aroma] Will make this again!!"

Holiday Snickerdoodles (Cookie Exchange Quantity)
