"Please, does anyone know how long this will keep in the fridge in these jars? I'm thinking a weeks worth of breakfasts, but I usually don't let anything stay in fridge longer than 3-4 days Max... otherwise it gets frozen. Please, has anyone mixed this up, refrigerated overnight, put in a non glass container and frozen? "

"wonderful, but dont limit yourself to pesto, try a bit of italian dressing or ranch mix with a bit of oil... YUM. and a trick - put your potato agains the straight edge of a flat pan, when you cut down through the potato, stop when your knife reaches the pan.. the pan if about 1/2 inch or less tall will stop your knife, your cuts through the potato will be even and you'll be sure not to go all the way through. I use a wooden spoon alongside as well :) "

"wonderful, easy and quick, I have a similar recipe that I've used with ground turkey/sausage/ground beef/various veggies. This is very versatile, and in my kitchen that is a HUGE plus. Sometimes I just dont have every specific thing on hand and have to improvise/substitute. One thing though... I didnt and wont boil the chicken, that just sucks out flavor if you ask me. Of course the broth is always useful, but i thing grilling then shredding or even a bread coating and panfried and cut into roll-able strips :) or simply baked with some seasoning... isjust a bit tastier. Frequently, I also don't have cream cheese in the house, or if I do not multiple packages (the kids love it on a bagel in the morning :)) Anyways, in a pinch I use cream of mushroom/cream of chicken soup with parmesan thrown in. its a quick alfredo :) when I don't have the jarred sauce, add extra mozzarella or a mix of what i have on hand to replace the cream cheese. Of course be conscious of what you and your family like, don't add pepper jack if they don't like it. Dont use cream of mushroom - find another alternative. I sure do love this recipe -- the possibilities are endless! :)"

"Eggs welll... are eggs. They have cholesterol. Not much you can do about it except for those nasty substitutes. Now, having said that - eggs are a whole lot of protein. and used wisely say only once or twice a week can be a nutritionally sound addition to any diet. So, I love this recipe. It's delicious. Of course, like any recipe, I suit it to my family's tastes. I add some seasonings; pepper - black and white, a bit of garlic, some onion and definitely mushrooms. When I don't have alfredo sauce, I use cream of mushroom soup with parmesan cheese mixed in with a bit of milk. This is a versatile recipe, an easy recipe and a hit with me and my family."

I can't wait to make this - obviously its fattening and obviously its a special desert. I live in the Northeast - a store bought cheesecake w/peanut butter and brownies could cost as much as $25 buying the separate ingredients and using the bulk stores - BJ's Sams.. $7-8 bucks. Since I work like the rest of the real world I certainly would never find the time to make this as a regular dessert. But for special occasions? you bet I will. It sounds DELICIOUS. I must say here that I RESENT people telling me, whats good for me. I am adult and I can read nutritional info and make my own decisions. But I'm always happy to take advice on how a recipe turned out - and if there were modifications that appeal to me :) Thanks Betty Crocker - I think this one is a keeper too.
