"I luv this recipe. Have always gotten it off the Bisquick box. Low & behold to my shock & dismay, when I bought a new box ... The dumpling recipe was not on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was mortified. I know I can drag out a big clunky cookbook and make my dumps from scratch BUT I don't want to! So what's up Betty? You plan on putting the dumpling recipe back on the Bisquick box??? Please? Thank You!! PS: I add dry basil & a tiny pinch of garlic POWDER to the batter. I add a lot of basil I would add much more garlic POWDER(not salt) but OTHER people can't take the garlic ... Wossies!"

"Please note that another Poster months back, suggests to use shortening instead of vegetable oil. I agree with this, as shortening has a tendency to make dough come out runny half way through the baking process. Some people have noted that this is a reason they don't like this recipe. "
