"Excellent recipe, but bake 1hr. for tender apples. also added 1/4 c. Splenda/cinnamon to peeled, sliced apples w/a few dots of butter on top of apples. My husband asked for seconds and we finished it in 2 sittings with Vanilla Carb Smart Ice Cream on top. Substituted Splenda Brown Sugar for regular brown sugar using only half the amount recipe called for. Will make over and over again. It's as good,Apple Pie, maybe even better!"

"Good recipe, I used 1-1/3 cup chicken broth and 2/3 cup water, otherwise rice is too salty. Next time I'd add 3 heaping tablespoons of orange marmalade in rice and 2-1/2 tsp. orange zest and 1 tsp. ground ginger in Bisquick mix for more flavor to fried chicken. Will make this recipe again. Husband loved it too!"
