Spanish Chicken
"This was very, very good. I made it on the stovetop and didn't add the rice - made it seperate so that we could each make our own ratio of rice and topping. I used a green pepper instead of red only because I didn't have one."

Slow Cooker Italian Tortellini Stew
"This tastes much better the second/third day. I cut down on the dried basil by about half, also added some kidney beans a few days later - too much pasta for me. All in all a very good and tasty low fat dish."

Wild Rice Soup
"This soup was so delicious. I too had never heard of canned wild rice but did find it in a ready to heat and eat pouch. I used fat free evaporated milk in place of the half-and-half and it was still very creamy and less fattening. We added the toasted almonds at serving time so that they would be fresh for leftovers. It did reheat nicely in the microwave."

Easy Garden Bake
"This is one of my favorite Bisquick recipes. Really great for using fresh veggies from the garden and for a light yet filling meal when served with garlic bread."

Louisiana Chicken and Pasta
Rating:
I was not totally impressed with this recipe until I omitted the pasta the second time I made it, then it became worthy of 5 spoons. I think it is better served over rice. A little hot pepper sauce is a good addition too.

Very, very good! I used applesauce instead of the oil and made my own frosting from a very old Betty Crocker Cookbook........delicious.

Such a great summer dinner, goes great with some garlic bread and a cucumber salad. I have even cooked this in the microwave and it comes out great every time.

These are addictive! Very easy to make and perfect for parties because they are neat to eat. Very nice blend of flavors, nothing is too strong or overpowering. Delicious!

Italian Sausage Lasagna
Rating:
We loved this recipe - very easy to make and put together. I did not cook the noodles first (used regular noodles) which made it quicker and easier. I did cover the pan with foil but the cook time remained about the same. Very delicious!
