Slow Cooker Hot Chipped Beef and Chipotle Dip
"Made this dip for Superbowl Sunday. Easy to make and glad it was a very small dip. Soooooo hot!! I couldn't eat it. Those Chipotle peppers were seriously a dominating flavor. My boyfriend who loves spicy food didn't care for it. "

Slow Cooker Teriyaki Chicken Wings
"Made these wings for Superbowl Sunday. Quite easy to prepare. My boyfriend and I like a drier wing, so we baked then in an oven set at 400 degrees for about 25-30 minutes after 5 hours in the slow-cooker. Very tasty. I think if I made them again, I would marinate over night. "

Potato and Double-Corn Chowder
"This so delicious!!! Really nice comfort food in the winter. The only thing I would do next time is add more salt. Since I didn't have any onions on hand, I used 1 tsp. onion powder. Definitely worth making."

Chocolate-Marshmallow Pillows
"These cookies are very sweet and I like sweet. A bit too much though. A few some problems with the baking. The cookies are extremely soft even though I added 1 minute more to the baking time. I was afraid to over bake them. Left them on the baking pan to cool, otherwise they will ooze thru the cooling rack. The icing is VERY sweet. After all the cooling, they still are a very soft cookie.Too many great recipes to try...won't bake this one again."

Mississippi Mud Bars
Rating:
I made these this morning and after all the work and required cooling and refrigeration times.....totally disappointed. To me, unetible. My step son could eat them but no one else. Icing tasted like sour cream, yuk. Marshmallow layer stuck together when cutting. Followed recipe as written. Would NOT recommend.

Fudge Lover's Cream Cheese Cake
Rating:
I made this cake just a few days ago. I would give it 10 spoons if I could! Everyone loved it and it sure went fast. I decided to use the yellow box cake. I did try 1/3 less fat cream cheese. I think it made the filling a bit runny. I did add some regular cream cheese to it to thicken it up. It was great, highly recommend!!

Pumpkin Swirl Brownies
Rating:
I made these brownies for Thanksgiving and was really disappointed. Making them kept me busy in the kitchen and for the end result, they were very dense and heavy. Followed directions without any changes as I always do. They were better warm than room temperature. Too many great recipes out there, so wouldn't make again.
