I fixed the soggy issue by beating an egg and brushing it over the entire pizza crust before the first bake (you don't have to use the whole entire beaten egg, just brush a coat over the pizza). I also cut the recipe in half, and spread the batter into a thin crust on baking parchment paper on a cookie tray. The egg coating on top helped to keep the sauce from absorbing into the crust, and the parchment paper helped to keep the bottom from getting to moist during baking. My pizza was pretty crispy and didn't crumble at all.
