"Super easy to make, really big on taste. The shortcakes are not sweet, so they cut the sweetness of the caramel sauce and chips. It's the perfect size for "a little something" at the end of the meal and they're pretty enough to bring to a dinner party. They remind me of the "shooters" they serve at Applebees."

"Since I'm allergic to nuts I omitted them...I can't imagine how the nuts could have enhanced the deliciousness of this cookie any more!! Easy to make, incredible to eat. Agree with others that the indent needs to be deep to hold the caramel - might try the bottom of a 1/2 tsp measuring spoon next time. Didn't need that many caramels to top all the cookies - probably could have reduced by 1/2 dozen and cut back a bit on the half and half to offset the difference. I wasn't sure about the sea salt, but it really made the flavor pop. Flew off my desk at work...definitely adding to the gift cookie repertoire!!"

"Because I have a nut allergy, I skip them and they still taste amazing. I first made these for a picnic on the 4th of July and they were a huge hit! Since then, I've made them 3 more times this month due to popular demand and have been asked repeatedly for the recipe. An absolute win!"
