"After realizing how much money I was spending on a chain coffee store lemon pound cake, I decided to try to make my own. This was AMAZING - soft, moist, with a nice lemon flavor (no too overpowering). It was super easy to make, and had ingredients that are always in the pantry. Didn't make the glaze but next time I will, as I think that would make it even better (if that is possible!) I made this in a loaf pan and may need to tweak the temperature next time as the edges were a little on the extra brown side. Still, this was an excellent recipe and one that will definitely be made again"

"This was a terrific corn bread recipe. Very easy and delicious. The only change I made was I added a can of corn kernels to the batter prior to baking. The texture was nice and moist, not at all dry as some other reviewers experienced. I feel bad buying corn bread mix now because the "real" thing is now so easy to make! My family devoured it - including two picky preschoolers. Will end up being a staple in our house I suspect!"

"This was a fantastic recipe. I made the lentil patties on their own and served with another side and they were still amazing. I was very generous with the cashews and added extra breadcrumbs to form a nice consistency for the patties before cooking. The last time I made these, I also added some grated carrots - my two toddlers devoured them!"

"This was an excellent recipe. As the previous reviewer mentioned, I also extended the cooking time to about 10 hours. I used my hand held mixer to mix through the soup to a good consistency for my toddlers, although I would have been happy eating it slightly chunkier. I also held back on the bacon but next time I won't - I think that would have given it the extra touch of salt it need (this was my fault however!) This recipe "as is" is terrific - was easy, delicious and kid approved in our house!"
