Slow-Cooker Carolina Pulled-Pork Sandwiches
A much simpler and more pleasing (to me) recipe starts with a 4# pork loin (not tenderloin). Just cut it in half, cover it with root beer (not diet) and cook it for 7 to 8 hours on low in the crock pot. Once it can be pulled apart with forks, do so after draining the root beer. Add a little BBQ sauce or marinade of your choice and return it to the crock pot for 30 minutes or so. It won't be the best BBQ you've ever eaten but it will be a sight better than this recipe.
