"I have noticed that when putting bisquick biscuits on top of things to be baked, like peach casserole, sometimes the bottom of the biscuits come out gummy. For the chicken pot pie, I heated all the ingredients (except the Bisquick mix) in a saucepan just to a boil. Then, I poured the mixture into the pie pan, added the Bisquick topping and baked. The Bisquick topping was perfect and the pot pie is wonderful."

"Help. This recipe is over thirty five years old, but it was great. I got the original sheet of 6 recipes inside a bag of flour, but lost all my recipes in a house fire. My family loved these dinners. You made a batter of flour and eggs and I don't remember"

"Yes. I just got a great slow cooker in November. I lost my old one in a house fire 5 years ago, so I was looking for slow cooker recipes myself. The Betty Crocker cookbook has a whole section on slow cooker recipes and several meat recipes have an added"

"Any good book on canning wil have a recipe for "bread and butter pickles". Use small cucumbers and they are very easy. Good luck."
