"I made these twice - once with the pudding and once without - decreasing the liquid to a total of 1 cup. I also added 2 tsp. red food coloring. - man oh man the ones without the pudding were way better. now a family favorite. I am thinking of using orange cake mix making them orange cream whoopie pies."

"I wanted to make these for my mother (a diabetic) using splenda. these didn't come out like the ones using the cake mix - not at all flat or too fluffy. I think the liquid needs to be increased. will try these again with more liquid. "

"I used Splenda and Brown Sugar Splenda to make it diabetic friendly. and OMG it was wonderful. people asked for the recipe. I was thinking of adding cranberries next time. wouldn't change a thing."
