Slow-Cooker Chicken-Barley Stew
this was a great hearty recipe! i did however use boneless chicken breasts and I seasoned and browned them in my cast iron dutch oven first. Same with the veggies. I also used a little more barley, about a cup, just to finish what was left in my bag! So i added a cup more liquid too. I cooked in my dutch oven for 4 hours at 200 degrees, then took out meat to shred up into hearty chunks and cooked 1/2 hr longer. came out perfectly cooked. Oh..I also used 4 cups chicken broth and 2 cups water. Will def. make again!
