Gold Medal® Classic White Bread
This is the bread recipe I learned from the old red Betty Crocker cookbook growing up. I always used milk and because the original recipe called for cakes of yeast, I had to use 1 cup of liquid to activate the granulated yeast I used. It is still the easiest to bake and handle of all the other breads I have tried.
