"I checked my 1953 version and did not find it there. If you would describe it, there might be another name for that cake. I find that often happens -- over time the name gets changed, but the recipe might be similar to another named one."

"I made this with store-bought shortcake cups for ease of preparation. I added a spritz of canned whipped cream and one huge strawberry to top each serving. It was received with rave reviews by our friends and was a snap to make. Definitely a keeper! "
