"These were very good. I forgot to add the Coke and they turned out just fine without it (I really don't think the Coke is necessary). House smelled AMAZING while they were cooking. Meat just fell off the bone. I think it was a bit too much bbq sauce though. Next time I'll use less. "

"I haven't tried it yet either, but it sounds delicious. I also would like to know if we can use regular ingredients in it (not gluten free). (sorry I gave a 3 spoon rating...had to give SOME rating before I could post this. I'm sure it's a 5-spoon recipe)"

"This is THE BEST apple desert ever! But it IS awfully sweet. I make it in a 9x13 pan and triple the amount of apples. I don't increase the rest of the ingredients and it is still plenty sweet. I have made this so many times for groups and everyone loves it. This really IS an award winning recipe! "

"This was absolutely delicious! I made it this morning for my adult Sunday School class, and after reading the reviews, I was afraid it might be too sweet. So I made it in a 9x13 pan and I only doubled the apples and didn't double any of the other ingredients. I actually added about 2 Tbsp of flour to the filling ingredients to prevent it from being runny. I didn't add the pecans. And I baked it for about 45 minutes total. It turned out perfect and got RAVE reviews. I even had a request to make it for an upcoming fellowship we're having. This recipe is a keeper!"
