Cheese-Garlic Biscuits
"These are so wonderfully good ... I cut the butter directly into the Bisquick, doubled the garlic powder and put it directly into the Bisquick, too. I melted additional butter and brushed it onto the biscuits when they came out of the oven."

Ultimate Chicken Fingers
"Family gave this a solid four spoons. They said for this to be five spoons, the batter on the outside of the chicken fingers would have to be more crunchy. The flavor is good and the meat was tender so they want me to make this again next week. My daughter wants to try to make this recipe spicy for her boyfriend because they spend so much at Buffalo Wild Wings on super spicy chicken fingers. Any suggestions?"

Chex® Breakfast-to-Go
"Couldn't be easier. Has a nice mix of flavors. Next time, I will use whole almonds as the sliced almonds are more like large crumbs than pieces of cereal mix to pick up to eat, as this is a finger food ... to-gos like this are to be eaten without a spoon. I used half raisins and half dried cranberries for the half cup dried fruit."

Oven-Baked Chicken
"I have not fried chicken in about 20 years. Have always been too afraid to have that much hot grease in a house with children. Tho this is a good recipe, it is not as good or as close to actual fried chicken as the recipe would have you believe. However, the flavor of the bisquick and spice is hands down better than Shake-n-Bake, so I will make this again. After reading some of the other reviews, when I make it again, I will try taking the skin off or using boneless chicken and I may like it more than just four spoons."

Apple Crisp
"So Very Very Good!! It's now a favorite of mine and will be made over and over. I used canned apples instead of taking the time to wash, peal and cut fresh apples. I also used a tablespoon more of the butter because that is how much I had in an already opened stick and a little less nutmeg to suit family taste. I'll do the same every time I make it. So easy and fast and delicious."

Cherry Swirl Coffee Cake
Rating:
Really, really, really good! Had trouble getting 2/3 of the batter spread out on the bottom of the greased pan because the batter is so thick. It required 4 or 5 minutes of additional time in the oven. But, I will definitely make this again. I may even make it with a strusel topping next time. Yum!!

Slow Cooker Turkey with Sage and Bacon
Rating:
It was good, not fabulous. Don't know if I'll make it again unless the turkey breast is boneless. Like the other reviews, the turkey fell off the bones ... and the bones all fell apart and were all through the gravy with the potatoes and carrots. Yuck! The gravy had terrific flavor and the meat was tender. But the bones made it an unplesant dish.

Streusel Coffee Cake
Rating:
This is my favorite coffee cake recipe of all time. I made it last week, one night after dinner, just because I wanted something sweet, but not too sweet. My daughter's boyfriend was here and had it for the first time. He LOVED it. Now... he hunts, works with his hands, swears like a sailor, is all guy ... and he asked me for the recipe. THAT is a true testimony to how good this recipe is.
