Hummus
"This recipe is super easy and quick to make! However, instead of using canned chickpeas I would suggest using cooked dried chickpeas for a more fresh flavor and less aftertaste. I would also suggest using very fresh toasted sesame seeds, and grind them before adding to the recipe. Otherwise, they add a strange texture to an otherwise creamy dip. Just a few suggestions to an otherwise easy, and tasteful, recipe. I also recommend using the suggestions of adding curry, etc. to give the hummus a different kick! Enjoy."

Holiday Tree-Shaped Cheese Ball
"Delicious! I will definetely make this again. I thought this holiday tree fit best for the Christmas season. I made it for my husband''s work Christmas party and it was a hit! The decorating takes a bit of patience so don''t do it too last minute. Great recipe!"

Holiday Tree-Shaped Cheese Ball
"I decided to make this HOLIDAY tree for CHRISTMAS. 7 cups is a lot of yield so this is best for large groups, die hard cheese lovers. It might even be nice to divide 4 ways, making 2 smaller trees with half the bath and freezing the rest for another event. Even those who feel uncreative can feel impressed when they are finished with this appetizer! I had people ohhing and ahhing over this one! It was my first time using pine nuts and they were great with it! Again, I would suggest this recipe for the CHRISTMAS holiday over any other holiday...."

Holiday Tree-Shaped Cheese Ball
"It is silly that this recipe is called a "holiday" tree. It is obviously a CHRISTMAS tree. (Ray''s sarcastic comment also illustrates this.) "Holiday" is a general term. You have denied two of my reviews on this recipe even though I gave it an honest review, even 5 stars. Please consider changing the recipe name to something more appropriate without the fear of being politically incorrect or offensive. Thanks...."

Baked Spinach Artichoke Dip
"With all the great reviews and high stars, I thought this recipe would be a sure winner. I was going to make it for guests and I was embarrased at how it tasted. It had very little flavor and a strange aftertaste. Diasppointing."

Slow Cooker Barbecued Pulled-Pork Fajitas
Rating:
Having spent a year in Mexico, I expected this to have a different flavor. Nevertheless, it ended up being quite tasty! I used fresh green bell peppers sauteed with onions. I didn''t need the peppers and onions in my burrito. I would have been satisfied with just the meat. I will use leftovers in sandwiches buns, too. Easy to make (the slowcooker does it for you!) and worth trying. Will make again....

Tortellini Soup
Rating:
This soup wasn''t super impressive. The beans didn''t seem to fit. Next time, I would replace diced ham and chopped carrots for the beans. My husband was disappointed in the texture and lack of meat. Suprisingly, my pre-schoolers loved it! I might make it again just because the tortellini noodles were great in it. A recipe worth trying.

Lasagna Roll-Ups
Rating:
First of all, this lasagna takes longer than 30 minutes to prep unless you already have your onions cut, spinach thawed and meat thawed ahead. As a lover of lasagnas, I was unimpressed with this recipe. Although pretty, we thought it was bland. True I could choose a tastier pasta sauce next time. I liked the idea of rolling the noodles. I would use my favorite traditional recipe (which I know I like!) and do the same idea with that.

Dilled Shrimp and Egg Salad Wraps
Rating:
A nice, light meal for a refreshing summer lunch. Easy to make! I subbed 2 T. Honey Mustard dressing and 1 T. mayo instead of the suggested dressing and used dry dill. A tasty treat if you like both dill and shrimp! I subbed chopped deli meat for shrimp for my toddlers. They suprisingly loved it, too! Recipe is worth a try....

Tossed Greens with Grapefruit Vinaigrette
Rating:
This salad has a strong taste with the red onion and grapefruit combination. The vinagrette, which in and of itself is wonderful, adds some sweet flavor. I tried this recipe because I wanted to try a salad with grapefruit. However, I was disappointed with the overall flavor and unfortunately, I won''t make it again.
