Bananas Foster French Toast Very easy to make and had very good flavor, though we thought it average for french toast and not particularly outstanding thus the 3 spoon rating. It didn't remind me of Bananas Foster though, especially with merely being topped by uncooked bananas. I used honey oat bread and added spices; mixed in the bananas and topped it with the pecans just before baking. If I make it again, I'd add vanilla to the egg mixture. As far as it's comparison to bread pudding, while this recipe [and most other baked french toast recipes] is similar it certainly isn't the same. Bread pudding has lots more liquid compared to bread so that it cooks into a thick creamy mass. These overnight fench toast recipes are definitely more bread and not nearly as creamy as bread pudding.

Lemon- and Parmesan-Crusted Salmon i thought it was very good. i didn''t get the full amount of zest from 1 lemon so i think next time i''ll put down lemon slices under the fish. also, the fillet i used was a bit thin so i should have reduced the amount of breading.

Reuben Casserole very easy to throw together

Cheesy Egg and Rice Bake try using stock instead of plain water when cooking the rice. i had some frozen corn so added it. i also added a large can of chicken then served this as dinner. it was good but a bit plain.
