"Sorry folks, I made one cookie sheet of these, let them cool, tried a cookie and threw the dough away. Can we say "artificial taste"? They taste like lemon chemicals, if there's such a thing."

"I was really excited when I saw this recipe in my email because I love macaroni and cheese. I assembled it and baked it for 35 minutes, let it rest for 10 minutes and cut into it. It was quite dry and the macaroni wasn't fully cooked, which I suspected would happen. I think this needs to be cooked at 350 not 400 degrees so the macaroni has a chance to cook and maybe the pie wouldn't be so dry. I'm not sure I'll try this again, that's a lot of cheese that just went to waste. :("

"Make regular cupcakes, half of them red and half blue. When cooled, split the cupcakes and pipe white icing onto the red cupcake "bottoms." Place them in clear cups. Then top with a blue "top" and pipe on white icing . Sprinkle with red, white & blue sprinkles. Do the same using the blue "bottoms" and red "tops." Much easier to make and easier to eat too."

"I made these recently and followed the suggestions of other reviewers. For the filling, I reduced the amount of butter and increased the amount of peanut butter. It tasted more like a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup and less like a truffle, but that was fine with me. I also used Betty Crocker chocolate frosting for the top layer (hey, it was on sale for $1.00 at Target, how could I not?). These bars are delicious - peanut butter & chocolate lovers' nirvana!"

"These were a big hit at work. I didn't use mascarpone. It had a weird texture (maybe it was just a bad batch) so I used cream cheese instead. They looked exactly like the photo on the website. Loved the coffee flavor. Delicious!!!"

These were easy and delicious! I didn't have any crystalized ginger so I did without, but they were still a refreshing treat at work. I'll make these again soon!

I also make regular ginger cookies with this recipe. Same ingredients except I use Butter Flavored Crisco instead of shortening, add 1/3 cup finely chopped chrystalized ginger (I use the food processor to chop it), form the dough into 1 T. balls then roll in turbinado sugar and bake. DELICIOUS!
