"My idea of Mac & Chex has always been "Kraft", my shame became obvious when my family showered friends and acquaintances with praise for theirs; finally I decided to grow up and make some; this recipe gets 5 stars from a beginner, it was easy and tasted 1st class; the most important moment was when my adult children, who have always suffered through my past dishes of "Kraft" exclamined with joy that I had finally LEARNED how to make Macaroni and Cheese. Thank you, Thank you for helping me save face with not only my family but myself...."

"This is a good recipe for a beginner and/or a quick fix desert. I changed 2 things though, instead of Pillsbury Flour I used Down Cake Flour (I sifted all 3 cups) and I used vanilla and lemon flavoring, it gave it a different taste. "

Macaroni and Cheese
