"I made this for Christmas and it was time consuming but well worth it! The frosting went excellent with the cake. I would recommend that if you do plan on making it to read all the directions over and over and all the comments to make sure you have it down. I live at 5400 feet so just added the extra flour that was recommended on the box. I would definitely make this again for a special occasion as it was a delight to look at and delicious!"

"Made this for our early Christmas celebration.I was completely thrilled at how it turned out and so was my family. I did not want to tell them it was just three round cake pans with 6 little layers baked one at a time. I live at 5500 ft. so baked each layer for 8 minutes and followed the high altitude instructions on the box. The frosting was simply divine and the perfect frosting for the cake. Thanks Betty! "
