"My daughter and I were looking for a good recipe to make on this cloudy autumn day. We had a box of spice cake and so we googled recipes for it. This popped up, and since all the ingredients were on hand we made it and were thrilled with the taste! Even my fussy son raved about it!"

"At the risk of appearing disloyal to my aunt, I have to say that this recipe did work a bit better than hers. Admittedly, they did go a little flat, but they taste marvelous and I had no difficulty getting them to come out of the press, which is occasionally tricky."

"This recipe has become a Holiday favorite in our home. Not only, is it delicious, but it is most lovely to look at. I most often serve it in individual white goblets, though when numbers do not allow for individual servings, it is also attractive in a standard mold. I rarely have any leftover!"
