Cheesy Broccoli-Potato Soup
"Wonderful dish. I followed the recipe exactly, but left out the chicken. I found it just a tad bland. I took other reviewer suggestions and added bacon bits and velveeta cheese. It helped, but then I added some extra salt, pepper, and parsley flakes. Much better for me. Husband was craving a hot bowl of potato soup and this did it. :)"

Grilled Spicy Thai Chicken Wings
"These wings are fantastic! I made these for a last minute BBQ today and so far they are a big hit, especially with my husband who is so particular about his wings. I was not able to marinade them for the hour it called for, but since they turned out so good with them marinading for about 10 minutes, hubby and I have another batch in the fridge now to cook later. My husband is allergic to oysters so I used the soy sauce substitute. "

Creamy Salsa Potatoes
"I too used fresh chopped jalapenos instead of chiles, only because I thought I had a can of chiles in my pantry, but at the last minute realized I didn't. I loved that this made a big batch. My husband took the dish to a BBQ, which I was told everyone enjoyed. I personally have not tried the dish, but I can't imagine anything with potatoes and cheese not tasting good. I plan to make this again soon and I'll be sure to have some. "

Triple Chocolate Chunk Peanut Butter Brownies
"These awesome brownies turned out fabulous for me. Though I cannot fathom how anyone could mess up brownies made from a box *wink. A batch was taken to a BBQ and they were grabbed before anything else. I think the gooey, colorful, yumminess is just so inviting. "

Hearty Chicken Pot Pie
Rating:
I've been looking for recipes to use my bisquick with and stumbled on this one. I found this extremely easy to make and like other reviewers said, when it comes out of the oven and placed on the table; it does look like you've just been slaving in the kitchen. Because I had read quite a few reviews about this being somewhat bland, I used both cream of chicken and cream of celery. I also added some random spices while cooking the chicken. I also added shredded sharp cheddar cheese to the crust only because my 2 boys and husband love cheese, cheese, and more cheese. This dish also eats well the next day so I definitely looked forward to leftovers. Next time I make this I do plan on using rotisserie chicken and just shredding it. I had cut up chicken tenders and found it to be too chunky. Overall great dish!

30-Minute Mini Meat Loaves
Rating:
This meatloaf recipe is fantastic! I took the idea from another reviewer and cooked this in a muffin pan as well. My boys(3 & 4) thought they were so neat and just ate it up. I think next game day BBQ we have I will be making this again in the muffin pan because it looks too cool. :)

Chili Chicken Soup with Cilantro Dumplings
Rating:
This take on chicken and dumplings is in one word fabulous! What drew me to this recipe was the use of bisquick for the dumplings because I've been wanting to use my bisquick in other recipes other than pancakes. What was even more awesome was the fact that I literally had every ingredient available and didn't need to make a trip to the market. However I did choose to use rotisserie chicken. So the only deviation to the recipe I made was cooking the onions first and then adding the rotisserie chicken that I shredded by hand. And seriously, cilantro dumplings? Doesn't that just sound delectable? The dumplings were so good. This was seriously so quick and easy with a wonderful taste to boot! Both my husband and I really enjoyed this. Next time we plan to add at least one more jalapeno since we like everything spicy. We also feel this would be absolutely perfect for those cold winter nights. 5 stars from me on this!
