I followed the recipe as written, but exchanged butter for shortening. They turned out light and fluffy which is amazing for gluten free. Great flavor and great texture! You could definitely spice them up by adding herbs or garlic depending on what you were serving them with. I also freeze them and reheat them one or two at a time and they reheat well.
