Slow-Cooker Tuscan Turkey and Beans
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the sodium listed in the nutritional info is actually very close to correct. A teaspoon of salt contains about 2300 mg sodium, so that would be 3450 mg of sodium for the 1-1/2 tsp of salt. One cup of chicken broth contains 860 mg of sodium, so that would be an additional 2580 mg sodium, for a total of 6030 mg sodium for the whole recipes, or 1005 mg for each of the six servings.
I used low sodium chicken broth to help reduce it, but it's still a pretty high amount.
