Grilled Barbecued Beef and Bean Burgers
Yes, we realize altering the recipe bumps it out of the "Heart Healthy" category, but it doesn't make sense to use a pound of beans and only 1/2 pound of meat. Definitely use the whole pound of ground meat--make it turkey if you want--and double the cracker crumbs (or use bread crumbs). My kids don't care for BBQ sauce, so I used one tablespoon worcestershire sauce instead. This recipe is FANTASTIC IF you use a whole pound of the meat.

Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies
I use this recipe with one change; we hate nuts, so I substitute 1 cup old fashioned oats and make them oatmeal chocolate chip. So very yummy and not too wet (as would happen if you just omit the nuts). I've been using this as my one and only chocolate chip cookie recipe for many years. It's the best!
