Peanut Butter Candy Bars A family favorite, we've been making these for the past couple of years. You don't need 2c of chips though, 1 1/2c will do perfectly and you'll never miss the other 1/2c...might as well save a few calories. Also, we use 3/4c-1c peanut butter chips plus 1/2c-3/4 c choc chips. I don't care for butterscotch chips and although I'm a chocolate lover, all choc chip topping doesn't taste good b/c it's too much chocolate flavor and overpowers the peanut butter cookie mix. We also add another 1T of water so that it's a little less dense. We keep ours in the refrigerator so the topping stays hard. These don't last 24 hrs in my house of 5!
