This was amazing! I loved it so much i couldn't stop eating it. That being said, I think next time I'll try using dark chocolate. I like chocolate best when it's so rich I can only eat a small amount at a time. Either way, so good!

Hearty Lentil Soup
This soup was quite good. I was a bit shocked by the fact that it only made enough for about 4 servings. Luckily I was only making it for two. The only thing I changed was that I sauteed the veggies and sausage before adding them to the broth because I am not a huge fan of boiled veggies. Next time I might add a bit more broth and blend some soup to make more and keep it thick.

Slow-Cooker Steak and Black Bean Chili
I made this dish last night and it was soooo good! I made it exactly as the recipe said plus a small can of corn and a small can of chopped jalapenos (the green chillies gave it good flavor but it wasn't spicy at all!). Next time I might use a little less beef, use real onions, maybe add some green or red pepper and use only half of the soup envelope (it was a little salty) but overall it was very good!

This banana bread is really good. It is very moist and has a full banana flavor. I added chocolate chips and it was great. If you are looking for a dessert like banana bread this is perfect (even without chocolate this would be very sweet). Sometimes I like a more basic banana bread to put butter on etc, but with coffee or as a dessert this bread is amazing!

Family-Favorite Macaroni and Cheese
This is really yummy. Maybe I am used to my mom's mac and cheese which is nothing special (sorry mom!) but I loved the creamy texture under the crispy cheese on top. I doctored the sauce as I went to get the texture I wanted adding more flour or cheese here and there, and of course a lot of cheese to the top just before it finished baking. The best mac and cheese recipe I have found yet!

Healthified Tuna-Pasta Casserole
This was very good. I added more veggies and thought it came out very flavourful and was easy to make. It was almost too creamy, but still very good.

Tempting Turkey Tetrazzini
I used left over turkey and this was delicious. With all the cheese and cream it's not a very healthy option, but it is a real comfort food for around the holidays.

Hearty Chicken Pot Pie
This recipe is ok. I added some garlic and onions and spices to try to make it more flavorful, but really didn't think this recipe was anything special. I wanted to try this before giving it a go on one of the more difficult pie crust pot pies. The bisquick on the top is pretty good, but the mixture underneath was quite bland, even with my attempts to spice it up.I won't be making this again.

Pumpkin Cookies with Browned Butter Frosting
I made these last night. At first I was really disappointed because they seemed almost like cake last night. When they completely cooled and I tasted them today, they were much better. I was expecting a little more pumpkin flavor, and if I make these again I will definitely add more cinnamon. I also thought that with the sweetness of the frosting, the recipe made about double what I actually used (when I used as much frosting as shown on the picture, it was almost inedible) and I ended up having to throw some away so next time I will halve the frosting. I will also make the cookies smaller because the smaller ones I made were less cake-like and flavourful.
