"I have been making these without the apple for quite a while. This is going to be perfect to make after apple picking. Think when I make them again I may add some dried cranberries to the center. Will be a great addition to the caramel, apples and nuts."

mittens replied to the topic How long can cookie dough and baked cookies be stored in the free...
"I would guess that cookie dough would freeze for a month or so. I would make the dough and roll into "logs" like the slice and bake type cookie. Double wrap in plastic. I have seen tubs of cookie dough in the grocery freezer so I know that it can be frozen"

This was very good. A nice light and refreshing dessert for the summer. Did this for my husband's birthday. He loves key lime and coconut so I figured that this was going to be a hit. What surprised me is that I liked it as much as he did. Can't wait to try this with other flavors. Raspberry, Lemon-(that isn't much of a stretch is it), I may even try pumpkin in the fall, I will play with this that's for sure.

Six-Layer Brownie Bars

These are wonderful. Much better than the traditional "7-layer bars" only because the base is much tastier than the graham cracker base. And you can NEVER go wrong with a chocolate base. This is a recipe that you can play with and experiment with the nuts, and chips. Have fun play with your food!

I have made this as a main dish. I cut up chicken breasts and seasoned with a bit of salt and pepper. I then browned chicken and added to the broccoli mix. Did the onions on top and baked as usual. Easy, Quick and good.

I made this for work. I did add a bit more cinnamon than called for and I sprinkled on toffee chips as well as the nuts. I have made them more than once. Easy to make and take and not messy to eat.

I made these to bring in for work. It was great because they are not too sweet. I also topped them with toffee chips and the taste was just wonderful. I added a touch more cinnamon as well.
