"This was easy with pre-cut stew beef, baby carrots and frozen beans. I would call this more of a soup than a stew. Flavorful and simple. I'm not sure why, but the stew beef, although quite pricey, actually tasted a bit dry. Lots of juice in the broth and veggies, but the beef didn't seem to retain the flavor. I would try this again, but I would try a different cut of meat."

"This is awesome as a pre-school or kindergarten activity. ask each child to bring a sandwich bag of their favorite finger food snack. (Sending a snack suggestion list helps parents.) Have a large bowl or pot and allow each child to dump their sandwich bag into it. Then use a large wooden spoon to gently mix. At Halloween they called it Witches brew. Some items I saw were: mini marshmallows, cherios, goldfish, M&Ms, Gummy worms, Pretzel thins, various frosted cereal, granola... Fun and a yummy treat. :-)"

"WOW!! So easy, so tender and very flavorful. Using the Garlic cloves to make garlic potatos was a good idea too. This will definately make the regular rotation! Because it is SO tender I am considering shredding and using with BBQ sauce as a sandwich."
