Herbed Salisbury Mushroom Steaks We are big mushroom fans in our house, so I used more than the recipe called for. I will add even more next time. That said, my hubby loved this dish, but I thought it was just OK. The flavor was too bland for me; might up the thyme and add salt next time. I think using a full-fat (instead of fat-free) beef gravy might actually give it better flavor too. Like another reviewer, I probably will make more, smaller patties next time, because the bigger ones just fell apart anyway and took longer to cook than the recipe said.
