Consier the recipe as an insprational starting point. I susbstitued vegetable broth, used reconstituted dry black beans (losing a lot of sodium) and added a lot more veggies (diced celery, bell & hot peppers, zucchini, etc.) to make the falvors more complex. The core sweet potato taste is not as overwhelming that way.
