Fire Engine Cake
"This was so easy to do went over well for my 3 yr grandson. I couldn't find the licorce - I use fruit roll up that were a mix of red and orange. Folded in half and then again then formed a roll- with the gray icing i made a nozzle. Along with the truck I made cupcakes to serve, I found a bag of firemen at the toy store - put one on each of the cupcakes. I set the cake on firm styrofoam covered in foil so in was up from the tray. I found a dalmation dog, fire hydrant, and some plastic trees to set up around the truck. Grandson other favorite is Winnie the pooh - a figurine of Phooh was riding on the truck. It was great with the cupcakes set around the truck- it looked like the whole fire station was at his birthday."

"These were great. I made them smaller for my grandson 6th birthday. They were a huge hit not only with the kids but the adults too. these would make great bake sale item. Buy the little bags at the craft store and then wrapping up like suckers."

Rating:
I don't know what happened in my review, it didn't look like that when I wrote it, but any how, These were great. Quick and easy and like I tried to say I will be making these again only with blueberry pie filling.
