Slow-Cooker Swiss Steak Supper
Excellent! Not the usual crockpot fare where everything tastes the same. Used Russett potatoes I had on hand and low-fat beef gravy. Just before serving, I removed the meat and vegetables to covered dishes, poured the sauce into a heavy saucepan and thickened with cornstarch for a delicious gravy with a little salt and pepper. The sauce is more than enough for a 2-1/2 to 3 lb. round steak and extra veggies. We loved it, had enough leftovers for another meal.
