I have not tried this pinwheel recipe yet, but am soon with company coming for a visit.. TO~ maddmimi~~ my husband is a type2 diabetic and I'm used to altering recipes. I use the Heart Smart Bisquick and find no taste difference or structure change. I also use 'unsalted' butter and SPLENDA SUGAR BLEND. I use this for all my baking.. wonderful product, my family usually can't tell the difference.(If you follow the equivalent comparisons on the back of the bag, there isn't the after taste with this as with some sweetners). Now for the powdered sugar~ there just isn't anything to replace that~ however, the amount of glaze shouldn't be that bad or use just enough to 'see' it'. Hope this helps.
