Cinnamon-Sugar Pinwheels
"I have not tried this pinwheel recipe yet, but am soon with company coming for a visit.. TO~ maddmimi~~ my husband is a type2 diabetic and I'm used to altering recipes. I use the Heart Smart Bisquick and find no taste difference or structure change. I also use 'unsalted' butter and SPLENDA SUGAR BLEND. I use this for all my baking.. wonderful product, my family usually can't tell the difference.(If you follow the equivalent comparisons on the back of the bag, there isn't the after taste with this as with some sweetners). Now for the powdered sugar~ there just isn't anything to replace that~ however, the amount of glaze shouldn't be that bad or use just enough to 'see' it'. Hope this helps. "

Caramel Apple Dessert
"This recipe was not at all successful for me~~ I made it exactly as directions and the first part of 'mixing the sugar together then adding the milk until blended~~ the POUR into 9" square'~~~My batter was so dry and sticky that I had to scrape from bowl into pan and spread out!!! Smelled good baking, but when it came out of oven~~ where was the caramel sauce?? Dried up and had to scrape from the bottom!! And I served this for a 'family' dinner with 'new' guests!! So dissapointing~~ probably won't make again!! Too bad, it is such a simple recipe! Mlg."

Blueberry Cobbler
"I agree that there was not enough (cake) and I found it very greasy after it sat cooling. It was very easy, but I'll go back to my own recipe of putting the 'dumplings' on top of the blueberries and bake."

Muffin Glory Cake
"I made two of these (crowd size) for the teachers and staff @ my school..they all raved about it and how moist the cake was! They appreciated the fact that it was 'a little' healthy with the carrots and apples! I will definitely make this recipe again. Plus it makes the house smell good while it's baking!!"

Cream Cheese Pound Cake
"I made this today and must agree with some of the reviews that the cake was dry but tasty. I was confused as to whether the 3/4 cup butter was to be softened or melted as it is not given in the 'ingredients'. So I creamed the butter; added the cream cheese and Splenda(baking mix) vanilla and lemon extract and beat until all ingredients 'came together'.. then I added the dry ingredients, but I think the batter is way to thick and the next time I'm going to add about 2 Tbs. of canola oil and only bake it for 45 minutes then check.. I feel the 55mins is over baked... I hope the Betty Crocker kitchens test this again and revise the recipe."
